Specific Duties Include

Responsible for all facets of running the electrical department.

  • Residential & commercial and some light industrial projects.
  • Service, maintenance and new installations
  • Project quoting
  • Maintaining documentation as required by Electrical Safety Authority

 

Our Ideal Candidate Possesses

  • A valid Inter-Provincial Class B Journeyperson electrical certification
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans and schematics
  • Electrical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills, customer relations
  • Commitment to working safely and creating a safe workplace
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Monday to Friday 8:00 – 5:00, some jobs and projects require flexibility. Very little overnight travel out of town and few weekends
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License is a requirement.
  • Electrical: 5 years (preferred)
  • FSR Certificate

 

Preferred certifications:

  • WHMIS

NETWORK AND IT TECHNICIAN

Seeking a skilled and experienced Network and IT Technician to join our dynamic team at O-Netrix Solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support in a Windows Server/Domain environment, including DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and general Windows Server administration.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Exchange.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems.
  • Utilize virtualization technologies, specifically Hyper-V.
  • Understand the concepts of Cloud Computing and the distinction between Hosted Services and On-Premise servers.
  • Apply general network routing and wireless networking knowledge.
  • Conduct computer and network troubleshooting, employing strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit familiarity with basic networking concepts, IP addresses, subnets, and common command line commands.
  • Possess a basic understanding of scripting/programming and Linux.
  • Apply fundamental data backup concepts.
  • Manage Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 subscriptions.
